Frequently Asked Questions
Are you offering in person sessions?
Currently, our therapists are only working virtually via Telehealth. It is possible that in person sessions may become an option in the near future.
What are your rates and hours?
Kathryn’s rate is $250-300 per session, however sliding scale options are available through our associates. We offer 50 minute appointments Monday-Friday from 8am-6pm. We take credit card and Venmo.
Do you take insurance?
We are currently an Out-of-Network provider, but do provide courtesy claims to your insurance company. This means that you would be reimbursed directly from your insurance company after paying for your session(s) up front. We will soon be accepting both Optum and Cigna. Please message us to get on our waiting list.
Do you take HSA/FSA?
Yes, we accept Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flex Spending Account (FSA). These are savings accounts that allow individuals to set money aside tax-free that can be used for out-of-pocket medical expenses.
What is an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist?
Associate Marriage & Family Therapists (AMFT) have completed their graduate degrees and thousands of hours of clinical work. They are preparing to sit for their licensing exam to become Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists.
Each AMFT is trained by and works directly with Kathryn Diaz, LMFT. In addition to your primary therapist's expertise, you get the benefit of having Kathryn’s insight and years of experience included in your treatment.
